Hey, BAEs. I hope you're enjoying this glorious, glorious week. I have some reminders for you.
1. THE MOCK AP EXAM IS NEXT WEEK ON MARCH 24-25. On March 24, you will be completing a full-length multiple choice, and on the 25th you will be with me for all of first and second blocks to complete three essays back to back. It's going to be great fun, obviously. On those days (and every day), do all the things: go to bed early, eat a breakfast of almonds and chia seeds and greek yogurt, exercise so that your brain functions at its very best. You know. Oh, and show up on time OR ELSE.
2. I'll be talking to all of you individually to let you know if you've satisfied the requirements to have the school pay for your AP exam. If you haven't met two of the three requirements, that doesn't mean that you're not allowed to pay for the test; it just means that the school isn't going to foot the $91 bill for your exam. In that case, you'll have to talk to Mrs. Herrington about how to submit payment.
3. Your next novel assignment is due on April 2, WHICH IS THE DAY BEFORE SPRING BREAK!!!
4. My birthday is March 27. I'll be turning 34. I'm going to be skipping school on that day to frolic about downtown and hang out with my family (while you're at school, writing essay after essay after essay--sorry BAEs). But if you want some extra credit to help soothe your aching soul (I mean, you're going to have to go three whole days without seeing me!) you can tell me what big thing happened three days after I was born. If you come back to me with the correct answer, I'll award you with a bathroom pass.
