Hello, my sweet AP darlings! I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing holiday. I have a few reminders for you.
- You do not officially have homework over break. You do, however, have a novel assignment that will be due at the end of January, so if you want to use some of your time to read your book for that, have at it. Also, if you were one of the students who had not yet read To Kill a Mockingbird when we talked about it, you should read that book. You won't regret it.
- When you return from break, we're going to be working on another essay for an essay contest. You can click here to learn more about it. It'll be different from the DuPont Challenge in a few ways. It's not a research paper, and it deals with history instead of science and technology. You'll be working from a primary source. It's going to be great practice for you for AP exams and for college. Hopefully you'll think it's fun. The final essay will be due on Feb. 28, so it's not a bad idea to at least look over the documents on the approved list.
- We will officially submit your DuPont Challenge final drafts when you return after break. If you did not turn in your final draft, you need to email me about it so we can discuss your options.
Enjoy your break and be safe. I worry about you! And watch Elf again. It's good for you.
